ARAGO Consulting organizes a conference and a breakfast on Tuesday, March 13 at the Warwick Hotel in Geneva from 8:30 to 11:00 around the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
The new European regulation on the protection of personal data will come into effect on May 25, 2018.
3 main objectives of the reform of data protection:
- Strengthen the rights of individuals, including the creation of a right to the portability of personal data and provisions specific to minors;
- Empower the actors dealing with the data (controllers and subcontractors);
- Increase regulatory awareness through cooperation between data protection authorities, which must be adopted by common decisions when data processing is transnational and sanctions.
In this context, ARAGO Consulting and IRH-Partner were on stage to give an overview of the specific preparations companies must take in order to comply with the new EU General Data Protection Regulation.
