Budget-It automates and makes budget management easier
between SAP Concur and SAP ECC or S/4HANA

Budget-It makes budget management between SAP Concur and SAP Funds Management (FM) accessible through the automation of four key features:


  • Replication of the budget data

Budget data replication keeps the repositories used in SAP Concur up to date and prevents entries on inactive budgets.

  • Real-time budget controlling

Real-time budget controlling is based on the latest SAP Concur technology (event-driven architecture).As soon as a request is submitted, Budget-It checks the available budget in SAP Funds Management (SAP FM), and the request continues the approval flow or is rejected automatically.

  • De-commitment and liquidation of assignments

After the trip, commitments are released when the request is settled in Concur Expense.

  • Creation of commitments (with management of modifications/cancellations)

Commitments are automatically created in SAP ERP based on the forecasted expenses entered in Concur Request. The commitment number is visible in the SAP Concur solution. Modifications or cancellations of a request are also managed.
