ARAGO Consulting supported the World Food Program with the implementation of its new recruitment process, and rolled out the SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting module in 82 countries in order to enable the WFP to recruit more efficiently and face the starvation crisis.

World Food Program (WFP) is a United Nation agency created to provide a food aid service in the world. The WFP is the world’s largest humanitarian organization fighting hunger, shortages and famine. The main activity of the organization is the distribution of food to people in need, but also working with local communities to improve the nutritional status of the weakest. The World Food Program helps more than 80 million people a year in more than 80 countries. More than 15,000 people work for WFP all over the world.

Context and goals:

The World Food Program is facing an increasing number of emergencies and the lack of food and water around the globe is increasingly felt by local people. In order to cover as many emergencies and territories as possible, the organization has a growing recruitment need on long term (permanent positions) and short term (emergency cases).

Whether at the headquarters of the company in Rome or on the field, the WFP is constantly looking to attract new talents by creating pools of candidates available for short term missions.

To do so, WFP asked ARAGO Consulting for the integration and implementation of the Recruiting and Posting module of SAP SuccessFactors.

Benefits:

  • Simplification of recruitment processes.
  • Improved time to recruit thanks to SuccessFactors software.
  • Better visibility and communication of job position

The SAP SuccessFactors integrator, ARAGO Consulting, has implemented this project in 82 countries, while supporting the organization and its resources in managing change in their recruitment process.
