The Rexel Group digitalizes its HR processes with the SAP SuccessFactors suite implemented by ARAGO Consulting, to optimize its administrative efficiency, the quality of HR services and the experience for 28,000 employees in more than 35 countries. We have been involved in scaled and successful projects for over 10 years.
Context and goals:
As a global electrical supplies distributor corporation, Rexel Group supplies tailor-made electrical equipment and services to all professionals involved in the construction, maintenance, renovation, and development of all kinds of buildings and infrastructure.
The company has over 28,000 employees in more than 35 countries, and a 13,37 Md€ in 2018 turnover.
The SuccessFactors projects began in 2018 with Rexel USA, with a progressive rollout in Europe, LATAM and APAC.
In 2012, Rexel launched a program of harmonization of the group, based on the definition of standards. The first step was the transformation of human resources in order to streamline processes and functioning of the organization.
SAP SuccessFactors became the unique HRIS solution for the group.
Gradually, with the support of ARAGO Consulting, Rexel implemented new modules and deployed new countries in Europe and Worldwide.
The Employee Central Core HR implementation project started in June 2019 after a pre-project/audit phase. COVID crisis and lockdown was a complex time to go through. The project was stopped, restarted, on hold, slowed down then restarted full speed. Global EC template is live since early December 2020. France (5000 employees + 1000 externals), Belgium (800) and Germany (1300) are live with their respective localization, and the USA (6000) is on its way.
ARAGO Consulting was in charge of developing the many interfaces and of all the data conversion from payroll systems and other sources.
